Ceremonial Award Presentation to Outstanding Doctoral Students

On September 10, 2026 a ceremonial award presentation was held for doctoral students of the International Doctoral School and the Doctoral School of Molecular Medicine at the Medical University of Lodz who were distinguished during this year’s public review session.

The awards, granted in recognition of their outstanding scientific achievements, commitment, and the high quality of their research, were presented by the Vice-Rector for Research, Professor Agnieszka Piastowska-Ciesielska, MD, PhD, DSc, and the Directors of the Doctoral Schools, Professor Tomasz Boczek, MD, PhD, DSc, and Professor Jakub Fichna, PhD, DSc.

These distinctions acknowledge not only the recipients’ excellent scientific accomplishments but also the passion, perseverance, and determination with which these young researchers pursue their scientific interests and take on ambitious challenges.
