Research focuses on geriatrics, with particular emphasis on malnutrition, dehydration, sarcopenia, and frailty in older adults. A key area includes the assessment of dietary intake, nutritional status, and body composition, as well as the identification of factors contributing to the decline in cognitive and physical function and quality of life in the geriatric population. An important direction of research also involves the development and implementation of integrated care models and nutritional interventions in real-world settings, using Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA). Additional interests include the application of digital technologies for monitoring the health of older adults and the implementation of research findings into clinical practice.
