Credit for the academic year 2022/2023 at the International Doctoral School

Dear Doctoral Students of the International Doctoral School!

In order to obtain credit for the academic year 2022/2023, we kindly ask you to submit the following documents to the Office of International Doctoral School between 1st August 2023 and 30th August 2023:

  1. Annual report on the fulfillment of duties of a doctoral student; the template of the report is included in Appendix No. 2 to the Regulations of the International Doctoral School (the form available in the tab for a doctoral student – downloadable documents) together with academic achievements for the academic year, i.e. publications, certificates confirming the acquisition or completion of knowledge, skills or professional qualifications, etc.
  2. PhD student periodic progress sheets generated from the University computer system (before printing the sheet, please make sure that all grades have been entered into the system by the lecturers and are visible on your sheet).
  3. In order to complete a year of training at the International Doctoral School, students are also required to:
  • obtain credit for practical classes and vocational placement provided in the curriculum :

30h – in the first year of studies

60h – in the second year of studies

60h – in the third year of training

60h – in the fourth year of training

  1. Complete research and make progress in the preparation of the doctoral dissertation in accordance with the schedule specified in the Individual Research Plan.

Students of the first year, who have already prepared their Individual Research Plan (the form available in the tab for a doctoral student – downloadable documents) and agreed it with their supervisor(s), are asked to submit it to the Office of International Doctoral School along with documents confirming the completion of the year. Other first year students are required to submit their Individual Research Plan for approval to the Head  of the International Doctoral School within 12 months following the commencement of their studies, i.e. until September 30, 2023. The template of the Individual Research Plan is included in Appendix No. 1 to the Regulations of the International Doctoral School (we kindly ask you to include the topic of the doctoral dissertation in the Polish and English language).

Documents required for the completion of the academic year 2022/2023 should be submitted by the doctoral student in person at the Doctoral Student Service Center in person, after a prior registration of an appointment through the electronic system available in the Virtual University.

To register an appointment at the Doctoral Student Service Center you are required:

  1. to log in to the Virtual University
  2. to click the “Doctoral Student Service Center appointments” tab (available from 1 August)
  3. to select an available date and time of the appointment in the calendar (the green colour indicates available hours, the red colour indicates booked hours)
  4. at the bottom of the calendar you will see the selected date and time of the appointment.
  5. when you click “Sign up”, you will see information on successful booking of the day and time of your appointment at the top of the calendar.
