The Programme Council of IDS
The Programme Council of the International Doctoral School of the Medical University of Łódź was established by Ordinance No. 93/2025 of 7 August 2025 issued by the Rector of the Medical University of Łódź. Its purpose is to strengthen the quality of doctoral education through continuous academic supervision, ongoing alignment of the curriculum with international standards, and improvement of the system for assessing scientific progress.
The main tasks of the IDS Council will include:
- Providing opinions on amendments to the draft curriculum of the Doctoral School.
- Approving and proposing modifications to the rules for evaluating doctoral students’ scientific achievements, including criteria for mid-term assessment.
- Evaluating the implementation of the curriculum and the organisation of classes in the Doctoral School.
- Participating in committee work during mid-term assessments and in public reporting sessions.
