Pathogens & Immunity: Beyond infection – the long-term impact of infectious diseases on quality of life

Dear Doctoral Students,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the international conference “Pathogens & Immunity: Beyond Infection – the Long-Term Impact of Infectious Diseases on Quality of Life”, we cordially invite you to participate. The conference will take place on May 15-16, 2025, in Kraków, Poland.

The event is organized in partnership with the American Society for Microbiology and the Microbiologia Aurea Association.

The conference is held under the honorary patronage of Collegium Medicum of the Jagiellonian University, the Polish Society of Microbiologists, and the media patronage of Puls Medycyny. Additionally, the event has received certification from the INFARMA Employers’ Association.

The conference is dedicated to physicians, diagnosticians, pharmacists, and experts in infectious diseases, immunology, microbiology, virology, and public health. Discussions will cover, among other topics, the latest research on host-pathogen interactions and their role in the development of chronic inflammatory conditions, as well as challenges in effective healthcare financing.

We welcome your abstract submissions until April 15, 2025. All submissions will undergo scientific review, and selected papers are planned for publication as a supplement in the journal Advancements of Microbiology (http://am-online.org/).

Participation in the conference will also provide an opportunity to earn 14 educational points, as approved by the Regional Medical Chamber in Kraków.

All lectures will be simultaneously translated into Polish.
