The Library of Science (https://bibliotekanauki.pl/) is a Polish Open Access platform that makes available metadata and full texts of articles published in scientific journals and selected scientific books.
The Library of Science is available for free to anyone with a standard web browser and internet connection. The publications can be viewed and downloaded on your computer or mobile device, and no registration is required. Articles are available in PDF format and books also as EPUB, MOBI and XML.
Currently, the Library of Science provides access to over 440 000 scientific articles from 1533 journals and over 660 books. Almost 40% of publications are made available under Creative Commons licenses, which allow for a broad reuse of their content. The resources are constantly being updated and developed in cooperation with scientific publishers and thematic databases.
Open access to publications enables wide and rapid dissemination of research output to the global scientific community. The resources can be used by researchers, experts and professionals from various fields, educators, entrepreneurs, employees of non-governmental organizations and public administration, and all citizens.
The Library of Science is operated by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling at the University of Warsaw where the Open Science Platform team is based (http://pon.edu.pl/).
