Main Task

The Medical University of Lodz is implementing a project in the period from 01/01/2022 until 31/12/2024 under the program Ster entitled “Internationalization empowerment of Doctoral School at Medical University of Lodz (InterEmpowereD)" financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The main purpose of the project is systemic support for the internationalization of the Doctoral School of the Medical University of Lodz.

1. systemic support for the internationalization of doctoral schools.

the specific objectives are:

1. improving the quality of education in doctoral schools and the quality of research conducted by doctoral students through the use of international experience in this field;

2. increasing the international mobility of doctoral students;

3. developing internationalization activities “at home";

4. supporting long-term international cooperation of doctoral schools;

5. acquiring foreign doctoral students and promoters from abroad;

6. scholarship support for doctoral students pursuing doctoral projects in international cooperation and aiming at obtaining a joint degree or double degree;

The tasks of the project “Internationalisation empowerment of Doctoral School at Medical University of Lodz (InterEmpowereD)" in the STER programme are as follows:

Task 1 • Activities related to the acquisition of foreign doctoral students

Task 2 • Payment of NAWA scholarships for the best foreign and Polish doctoral students implementing doctoral projects in international cooperation and aiming to obtain a joint degree or double degree – payment after the approval of an individual research plan

Task 3 • Support of foreign mobility- support of foreign mobility for the best doctoral students from Poland and abroad, receiving education at the doctoral school

Task 4 • Internationalisation at home-developing activities related to internationalisation “at home”

Task 5 • Developing cooperation between a network of doctoral schools-activities related to the development of international cooperation of doctoral schools

Task 6 • Project Management-activities related to content management of the Project
