Day for PhD students of the 1st year of the International Doctoral School

On October 21, there was an organizational day for PhD students of the 1st year of the International Doctoral School, during which the Director of MSD, prof. dr hab. n. med. Anna Woźniacka welcomed the PhD students, presenting them at the same time the principles of education at the International Doctoral School and providing them with the most important information.

PhD students were transferred to the world of projects by the Deputy Director of the Office of Science, Strategy and Development, Aneta Andrzejczyk, who presented them with an offer of educational projects addressed to students of the International Doctoral School, such as NAWA STER, Aging @ EIT Health PhD School, SciFi (EIT Health project: From Scientists to Innovators for Industry).

 Chairman of the Council of Doctoral Students’ Council of the Medical University of Lodz, M.Sc. Karol Kłosiński encouraged doctoral students to take an active part in all doctoral initiatives of a scientific nature, including the upcoming DocUMed Conference, as well as to join the integration and cultural life.

Each of the doctoral students received a doctoral card and a Umed welcome pack.

At the end, the doctoral students could take part in a soft skills workshop, entitled “Attitude and its importance”, conducted by Michał Okrasa, career advisor of the Academic Careers Office Umed.
