Academic Camps for Doctoral Candidates (ACDC)

Krajowa Reprezentacja Doktorantów (National Representation of PhD Candidates) would like to announce the recruitment for Academic Camps for Doctoral Candidates (ACDC). ACDC has been created considering the needs and problems of foreign PhD candidates. The project is being organized in order to support you in different matters you may be dealing with during studies in Poland.

Program consists of online courses focused on:

  1. Administrative procedure of commencing and conducting PhD Studies in Poland,
  2. Higher education law (especially rights and obligations of PhD candidates),
  3. Intercultural communication (including these elements of polish culture that may be considered essential for foreigners).

Professional trainers would be invited to provide you reliable information on the above mentioned topics. The courses will take place on MS Teams platform in the second half of November.

Remember, there is always more to explore. Programme is designed for all foreign PhD candidates in Poland. We wait for your application till November 14th.

This survey is a part of the Academic Camps for Doctoral Candidates (ACDC) programme. All costs of your participation in the programme are covered by KRD.

Moreover, ACDC will also provide additional support for all foreign PhD Candidates in Poland (not only participants). We are going to create a helpdesk http://acdc.krd.edu.pl/ operated by English speaking Polish PhD candidates ready to help in any academic and administrative issues encountered by you in this country.
